Frost on the window

IMG_1269

This was my bedroom window this morning. As you may be able to tell, that window faces east (yep, that bright light is the sun!). Outside, it was about 1°C/33°F, if that. It was bitterly cold. It’s not unusual at all for the windows to frost up a bit, but usually not ALL the way to the top! I thought it looked rather amazing with the sun coming in, the shadows from the giant conifer tree in the front yard, and just that tiny corner up the top that was not frosted up, where you could actually see out.

This was taken about 10 minutes after sunrise, on my iPhone. No editing.
